Send FlowersGary Lynn Rowland, 83, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025.
He was born in McClure, Ohio, on Dec. 11, 1941, to the late Herbert and Marguerite (Conn) Rowland. On June 14, 1963, Gary married the love of his life, Pamela (Holder) Rowland and spend a loving 61 years together. Pam preceded Gary in death on Nov. 29, 2024.
Gary was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon, for many years. He grew up as a farmer in his early years, loved to hunt as well as ride motorcycles with Pam.
Gary loved his family and would never miss a sporting event that his grandchildren had. He was an avid golf and NASCAR fan but most of all, he loved spending time with Pam.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Lori (Charles) Craycraft; grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica) Rowland, Asher (Grace) Waldfogel, Emma (Cody Sheller) Stutesman, Emily (Will) Stratton, Austin Craycraft, Lucas Craycraft, Kolbe Rowland and Baylee Rowland; great-grandchildren, Averii Waldfogel, Leah Rowland, Mason Rowland, Michael Rowland and London Rowland; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Pamela, and his son, Jeffrey Rowland.
A memorial gathering and service will be held for Gary at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions can be made out to Care 360 Hospice.
