James and Barbara moved from Ohio to San Ramon, California, in 1976, then later resided in Arnold, California. In his final years, James and Barbara lived in Bellingham, Washington. Though he lived in many places, James remained forever proud of his Ohio roots - a devoted Buckeye fan all his life.
