Kevin Matthew Homan, 58, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
He was born in Napoleon on March 29, 1966, to James and Beverly (Barton) Homan. On June 24, 1989, Kevin married Kerry Bostelman at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon.
Kevin was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where he served as an Elder. He embodied the life of a farmer and was a member of several agricultural organizations such as the Soybean Council, Soil & Water Conservation, the Zoning Commission, Gerald Grain Center and was a dealer for Pioneer Seed Co.
Kevin was a constant supporter of the local 4-H Clubs, FFA and the Henry County Fair. He was the type of man that would do anything for anyone. His laugh was infectious and loved to live in the moment. He enjoyed camping and hanging out with friends. He loved his family fiercely and loved having them close.
Kevin is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kerry; children, Kendall (Clinton) Detmer, Brandon (Jessica DeLuca) Homan and Elizabeth Homan; grandchildren, Kasen, Bowen, and one on the way; mother, Bev; sister, Laurie Rupp; brother, Michael (Kristi) Homan; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim.
Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 11 a.m., with an hour of visitation prior to services. Services will be livestreamed from the church website at www.stpaulnapoleon.org. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center FFA, Liberty Center Athletic Boosters or the Henry County Ag Society for the new fair building.
