Nancy L. Dawson
Nancy L. Dawson, 77, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025.
She was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, on Sept. 11, 1948, to Eldred Stark and Ernestia (Stapley) Peterson. She graduated from Algonac High School in 1966 and married Bennie Dawson on Feb. 9, 1968, in Algonac, Michigan. Before building their retirement home in Napoleon, they resided in Grelton, Ohio.
Nancy was a devout Christian who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing pinochle, collecting antiques and joining friends for recurring dinners.
Nancy is survived by her husband Bennie; children, Cal (Laurie) and Peggy (Alan) Bohls; grandchildren, Alyssa and Corinna Dawson; Ben, Charley (Andrea), Ally and Harrison Bohls; great-grandchildren, Juliet and Caroline Bohls; and siblings, Bonnie (Steve) Dawe, Rodger (Gail) Peterson, Brian (Paulette) Peterson and Paula (Jerry) Carter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Karen (Alfred) Swinyard.
Visitation will be held at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon on Monday, Oct. 6 from 3-7 p.m. The funeral will be on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with an hour of visitation beforehand starting at 10 a.m. Interment at the Grelton Cemetery will follow the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Four Corners Heritage Center, Grelton, Ohio or to the charity of the donor's choice.
