Barbara L. Daigneault Oct. 27, 1942 - Apr. 27, 2015 NORWICH - Barbara L. Daigneault 72, of Norwich died Monday at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Norwich on October 27, 1942 the daughter of the late Raymond and Marion (Bolduc) Chapman. Barbara was employed as an Office Clerk at the former Peddler Newspaper in Norwich and was last employed at Secon Collections in Norwich before retiring. She was a member of the Taftville Lions Club, the YOMACO Club in Norwichtown and also volunteered for RSVP. On October 28, 1961 she married Henry Daigneault at Sacred Heart Church in Taftville who survives her. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Todd H. Daigneault and his wife Darlene of Clifton, NJ. and Scott C. Daigneault of Norwich. One daughter, Christy A. Benton and her Husband Robert of Uncasville. One sister, Bette Jean Topeka of Myrtle Beach, SC. Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Sacred heart Church in Taftville meeting directly at church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Baltic. Calling hours at the Guillot Funeral Home 75 South B. St. Taftville will be Thursday from 6 - 8 P.M.
