Dan, you've left me with 45 years of some great memories, although it doesn't seem enough. You were the kindest, gentlest, and most honorable man I've known. Your quiet humor always lifted me up and I thank you for that. I'm sure just knowing you has made me a better person. May God bless you and your family.

Maureen and Tim,
So very sorry to hear of your tragic loss. We so often think of you guys and reminisce with smiles on, when we think of our happy times living in your family's home in Fitchville.(1974-77) Times like: the many volleyball games, charades, singing at the rest home and most of all going to The 1976 Olympics in Canada. Our thoughts are with you. We are unable to come to the funeral, Ruth is now confined to a wheelchair, her disease has progressed and she is not too mobile. We will be praying for you and your family.

My heart goes out to the Gilman family. Though I only knew the golfers I`m sure their brother Robert was as top notch as they are. To not see that group in the wee hours of the morning will not be the same for me. Rest in peace Dan.
