Felix Perkowsky Obituary
EAST KILLINGLY – Felix R. Perkowsky, 75, formerly of East Killingly, died June 7, 2017. Felix was born June 24, 1941, son of the late Felix and Mary E. (Morich) Perkowsky. He was a 1959 graduate of Norwich Free Academy, a graduate of The University of Hartford School Of Mechanical Engineering and attended graduate school at Worcester Polytechnic Institute on a Research Assistantship. He served in the army as a combat engineer from September 1963 through September 1965. In later years he was employed as an engineering consultant. He is survived by his sister Mary E. Joseph of East Killingly, four nephews and two nieces. Funeral service and burial will be private. Tillinghastfh.com

Mary. my condolences to you and your family. In his field Felix was a brilliant guy. More importantly, he was a person of integrity, honesty and honor. He told me not that long ago that he "lived too much inside his head" and tragically this was probably so. Given the chance and a few different twists and turns over the years he could have contributed significantly to advances in engineering, experienced greater peace and been a good friend to many as he was to me.
