Helen Zei Obituary
Norwich - Helen S. Zei, 90, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020, after a brief illness, with her husband and daughter by her side.
She was born in Norwich, CT on January 13, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Gruszczynski) Sipolski.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Bruno Zei, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dale Kennon, grandsons Robert and David Kennon and sister-in-law Patricia Sipolski and her children. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Ronald Sipolski.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home in Norwich is in charge of arrangements.

I am a relative newcomer to Helen's extended family, via her son-in-law Dale's sister Adele. To husband Bruno, daughter Karen, son-in-law Dale, grandsons Rob and David, and sister-in-law Patricia, I want to say that Helen was one of the most kind, gentle, and loving persons I have ever had the joy to meet. I am missing her a lot.

I was blessed to have known you. I thank you for all the Christmas cards and gifts over the years. I thank you for watching over us, watching my children grow up. I loved the chance we have had to have met, and to have been such great neighbors and friends. I wish you much joy and peace on your soul's journey. I will miss you greatly.

Im so sorry for the passing of your mom. Your mom was the kindest person Ive had the pleasure to have known. I think back to our childhood when your mom would take us to the beach( Rocky Neck) and to go get a ice cream cone on hot days. I remember your mom would always ask us both what we wanted for breakfast when we had sleepovers at your house, and we had a lot. Your mom always made me feel welcomed.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
