Janice Warrender Obituary
Danielson - Janice D. Warrender, 73, of Danielson, CT, died unexpectedly on December 7, 2016 at her home. She was born May 12, 1943 in Brunswick, ME, daughter of Walter and Lois Duplisea of Solon, ME. She was a 31 year resident of Danielson. Janice was well known for her award winning quilts which brought warmth and comfort to so many. She had a lifelong love for country music. Janice will be sorely missed and long remembered by all who knew her.
She leaves her longtime companion D. Linda Fitzgerald, her two daughters Mrs. John (Laure) Boucher of Leicester, MA and Luann Morgan of Danielson, her two sons Ross Morgan of Hebron, CT and Scott Morgan of New Hampshire, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Janice's life will be on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at the Danielson, Elks Lodge, 13 Center Street, Danielson, CT. In lieu of flowers please bring a dish and happy memories.

I just learned of your passing my friend. What can I say as I sit here crying? You were a great friend. But, as I wipe my tears I remember all the good times we had at work and at all the shindigs we went to. I was called your shadow for a while until people got to know me. I still think of myself as your shadow because you taught me so much in quilting. I got another family when I met you and Linda.

I first met Jan at Walmart. Then met again with Linda and family. Went to they home had a great time, she showed me around and I saw all her beautiful work. She will be missed. RIP. So sorry for her family and Linda Blessings to all. Ruth M Jackson

where do I begin , so many wonder memories and fun. Thank you for sharing all your quilting tips with me and not letting me buy books at the quilt shows lol. Can't stop crying as I just received your Christmas card in the mail. So unfair you are gone so soon. We had so much more to do. I will always remember all the times we've shared together from camping with the buses, going to fabric shops, quilt shows, times with the bands, to the times Janice would yell to me "Mare!... how do I do/fix this?
