Joann Ormerod Obituary
DANIELSON - JoAnn L. Ormerod, 65, of Danielson, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at UMass in Worcester, MA. She was born September 30, 1952 in Putnam, daughter of the late Edmond and Marie E. (Schroth) Harnois. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Ormerod; they were married on July 11, 1998 in Putnam. JoAnn was a communicant of Our Lady of LaSalette Church in Brooklyn. She enjoyed gathering with her family and friends, as well as traveling and was an avid reader. JoAnn worked at T.E. Connectivity in Worcester, MA for over thirty-three years.
Besides her husband Robert she is survived by her children, Betty-Jo Scott (Michael) of Greenville, NC and Donald E. Steele Jr. of Pomfret, CT; a sister Karen Cote (Jeff) of Taftville CT; grandchildren, Eric Evans, and Jessica Freeman of Greenville, NC; a special aunt, Ruth Brodeur of Danielson, CT and many nieces and nephews. JoAnn is also survived by her pets, Princess, Luke Skywalker and Stella.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30AM in Our Lady of LaSalette Church, 25 Providence Road, Brooklyn. Burial will be at a later date. tillinghastfh.com

Dear late beloved JoAnn, I am lost for word's of your passing. I will speak from my heart.. God gives special Grace to very few people. Our late beloved sister JoAnn in Christ is a gift of unconditionally love and compassion for others. JoAnn would always have the right words to say that would comfort each of our hearts.I will always keep JoAnn close in my heart every day.JoAnn was a living angel of Christian love. JoAnn was truly loved by many and will always be held close in the heart of her family and all those that knew and loved her. ' Well done,good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. ' Matthew 25:23. PS:I will talk with Fr.Earl about JoAnn today.I told Fr.Earl about beloved JoAnn many times. I will have Fr.Earl pray for JoAnn and also have the Greek Orthodox Christian monks pray for our late beloved sister JoAnn. I will talk with Elder Paisios the abbot monk at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery in Florence, Arizona and light candles for her at the monastery.

JoAnn was a co-worker and friend for many, many years. She was a dear, sweet person who will be missed terribly. She would do anything for anybody whether at work or home. May her family cherish their memories and may JoAnn rest in peace.

Joanne was a dear friend from swim class. We had lots of laughs at swim, parties, picnics, and dinner. One of the best memories I have is our trip to Newport playhouse. We all had a great time! She will surely be missed by all.
