PLAINFIELD – Joseph F. Buttacavoli, 81, of Moosup, beloved husband of Margaret (Jendrewski) Buttacavoli, passed away Jan. 6, 2018. He was born Oct. 16, 1936 in Norwich a son of the late Charles and Mary (Walka) Buttacavoli, Sr.and had resided in Moosup for the past 54 years. Mr. Buttacavoli was employed by Electric Boat for over 20 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren. Besides his wife he leaves a son Joseph C. Buttacavoli of Moosup; 2 daughters Mary F. Perry of Plainfield and Susan Stengel of S. Carolina; a brother Thomas Buttacavoli of MA; a sister Rosemarie Topor of FL; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (1-13-18) at 11:00AM in All Hallows Church, Moosup. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. www.doughertybrosfuneralhome.com
