Dear Mrs. Ives, 
I was so sad to read of your husband's passing.  My sister and I both had him as a math teacher when he taught in Montville and we both loved his class.  He was a fabulous teacher.  Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family.

Louis was a wonderful man and  a true debater. He was smart,funny and always Had an answer and could back it up.
