Linda Gaudreau Obituary

Linda M. Gaudreau May 9, 1950 - May 28, 2014 GRISWOLD - Linda M. (Sweet) Gaudreau, age 64, passed away Wednesday evening at the Wm. Backus Hospital. She was born on May 9, 1950, a daughter to the late Eileen (McKenna) and Allen Sweet. Linda was an amazing mother and friend. She was a kind-hearted person who loved having fun. She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #10004 in Griswold. She enjoyed going to musicals and anything pertaining to the Wizard of Oz. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Linda is survived by her daughters Angela Gaudreau, Jill Heroux and husband Chris; brothers Lee, James and Wayne Sweet; sister Joan Trudeau, Joyce Cassidy, Donna Barry, and Kathy Ross; grandchildren Toby Lavigne, Nicholas Bacon, Isla and Maddox Heroux, her companion Arne Matson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Her brothers Harold and Douglas Sweet predeceased her. There will be a memorial mass on Friday June 6th at Saint Thomas & Anne Roman Catholic Church in Voluntown at 11:00 A.M. Calling hours will be held Thursday June 5th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home located at 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT For online condolences please go to www.gagnepiechowski.com.
