So sorry for your loss. I just found out and am saddened. I remember morning walks and coffee afterwards. She taught me to sew, and was such a good neighbor. So sorry.

I just learned of Linda's passing. I have so many memories of good times together as neighbors, and when our children were young. She always served me a cup of coffee when I would stop by.

Condolences to the Veit Family

I first met Linda as a chaperone on a field trip to Nancy Belden's farm when our children, Lori and Curt, were in nursery school around 1981 at the Discovery Center on Kitt Rd in Canterbury. Linda was a pleasant, soft-spoken and gentle person. She would never fail to say hello whenever we saw each other at Town Hall and elsewhere. One of the things that touched me about Linda was how she'd always have a friendly greeting for Curt whenever she saw him walk by her house with his dog or alone. It meant a lot to Curt too, because he would tell his dad and me every time he talked with her.

Rest in Peace, Linda!

With Heartfelt Sympathy,
Debbie Kinne

Sherri and Tammi my childhood friends, my sincere condolences to you, and to Lori and Brian on the loss of your mother. I remember her very well from church, First Congregational on the Green. She was a great lady and it was so obvious that you kids came first. She was room mother at Dr. Helen Baldwin, baking the most delicious cupcakes. I'm sad to hear of her passing.
