Lucille Casko Obituary

Lucille (Lizotte) Casko 1921 - 2009 Putnam - Lucille (Lizotte) Casko, 88, formerly of Myers Street, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Day Kimball Hospital. She was the loving wife of Robert Casko for 41 years until his death in 1987. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Maria (Robillard) Lizotte. Mrs. Casko worked for Belding Hemingway for 30 years. Mrs. Casko was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed reading, especially about space exploration, medical and psychology topics. Lucille is survived by her sons, Donald Casko and his wife Nancy of Millinocket ME, John Casko and his wife Dolly of Melbourne FL, and Michael Casko and his wife Donna of Putnam; her daughters, Sharon Pickering of Stafford Springs, and Barbara Lussier and her husband Bob of Putnam; her sisters, Jeanne Morrell of Putnam, Pauline Cotnoir of DE, and her twin sister, Annette Polanski of Dayville; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lucille's family from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Friday March 27, 2009 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, PO Box 96280, Washington DC 20090-6280.�
