Maria Grazia Gorman

Maria Grazia Gorman September 8, 1928 - December 22, 2013 Burbank, CA. - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, Maria G. Gorman (Bartolucci). Maria was born in Livorno, Italy where she met her husband of 51 years, Thomas E. Gorman (a U.S. Army Military Policeman) after the end of W.W. II. Maria lived in Danielson where she raised her family until 2002 when she relocated to Burbank, California to be close to her granddaughter Natalie. Maria is predeceased by her husband, Thomas, daughter Judith Ruskin, and survived by her daughter Sarah Gorman and her husband Ralph Saperstein of Wilsonville, Oregon, Debra Gorman of Nashville, Tennessee and Lisa Gorman Cole and husband David Cole of Burbank, CA. Maria also leaves behind her grandchildren Natalie Cole of Burbank, CA., Elisa Cunningham and her husband Matt of Tigard, Oregon, Nathan Saperstein of Wilsonville, Oregon, Daniel Ruskin and his fiance Stacey of Dudley, MA., and Michael Ruskin and his wife Brittney of Sioux Falls, SD., along with two great-grandchildren. Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife who will be remembered for her great generosity, enormous heart, and celebrated biscotti. A private service will be held in Dayville, Connecticut.
