Eveyln and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. I remember Matthew clearly as a young child when we taught together at George Peters. May you find comfort in the many wonderful memories you shared together and the support of family and friends at this most difficult time. You are in my prayers.

Condolences to Matt's family. I knew him as a student at Cranston East. He was an extremely likable young man who had an intellectual curiosity that went well beyond his years.

For myself, I remeber being able to share in my gladness of accomplishing a task in our tutoring sessions with your son any time he was around! He was just so kind in his thoughts and actions as you are!

Matt was a very unique person who enjoyed life and God seen fit to take him to a more comforting place where he will live in eternal peace.he will always be in Gods light as a guardian angel for all .When one is sad in the missing of Matt always think of him through the eyes of his children which will keep him alive in everyones heart forever. When you are out and about and you should see a penny on the ground pick it up for that is Matt your guardian angel who has tossed it down to you knowing that you needed a little cheering up and put a smile on your face. The lord has taken a most precious gift from you all,but has left you with six of the brightest stars of all

This is a heartbreaking loss in so many ways, for Fr Matthew's wonderful family, for his many friends, and for the Church at large. He had already given us so much, and yet it seems we were still just beginning to see the wealth of gifts he had to share. Memory eternal to a friend I will dearly miss.

With the passing of Fr. Mathew his large and blessed family lost their beloved father and the Orthodox Church lost a very humble and promising priest-scholar. May the Lord take them under His wings and sustain them in these painful hours.
