Shirley Mae Czerniak March 11, 1927 - August 10, 2008 OAKDALE -Shirley Mae (Adams) Czerniak, 81, of Forsyth Rd., passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 10, 2008. She was born March 11, 1927 in Colden, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Georgiana (Eldred) Adams. Shirley was married to the late Stephen C. Czerniak who passed away May 28, 2005. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Colden NY, where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the United Methodist Women. Shirley is survived by her children Richard Czerniak and wife Barbara, Georgiana McGlinchey and husband Paul, Stephen Czerniak and wife Stephanie, Andrew Czerniak and wife Jennifer, by her brother Stuart Adams, sister Carolee Adams Lorenz, grandchildren Corey, Jordan, Eric and Kyle Czerniak, Kathleen, Meagan, Abigail and Beth McGlinchey, Nichole Shelley, Parker, Tyler, Tylie and Zoe Czerniak. Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held in New York at a later date.
