Caroline, Kathy, and Family,
My deepest sympathy on your loss of Butch. I didn't realize he had passed away until last night after talking to Barbara F.. I was shocked as Barbara visited with Butch and Caroline this past summer and all seemed so well.
Butch and Caroline were friends from NFA - both of whom I remember with much fondness! Just REAL people!! God Bless you all during this difficult time and always.

Kathy, Chaz, and Marie,
I first met Walt about this time of the year, many years ago. He was involved in EB's United Way campaign, and he guided me through many years working together on the campaign. I'm very sad to hear of his passing. Love to all of you.

Chaz, Marie, and family:

I was saddened to hear about Butch’s death. As my sister Linda mentioned, Butch spent much time with our family during our Summit Street years. Being in elementary school at the time, I didn’t interact that much w/ Butch (a high schooler), but I recall him as friendly and fun to be with – even though he was considerably older than me. One memory that I have is how he could evenly spin a basketball on his index finger for what seemed to be forever. Even though I haven’t seen Butch for so many years, I feel the loss of someone that was special to me and to my mom, Ghislaine, and Linda.

With deepest sympathy,

Paul Basilica

Kathy and family,
I know he was known as "Butch" but I always called him Walter. It fit his ever snappy manner of dress, and he was always, always looking sharp. He was my favorite person at EB. and for the last couple of years we always had a least a hour conversation every morning, about work, union, personal or otherwise. I am missing him greatly, and I miss his command of the English language. I always said he was the man with right words. At this sad time I'm finding it hard to say the right words. All I can say is I'm very sorry for your loss and again he will be extraordinarily missed.
