Adam McBride Obituary

Adam McBride, 21, of Lincoln, formerly of Cozad, passed away Sept. 19, 2010, at Lincoln.
He was born June 30, 1989, at Cozad to Kurt and Barbara (Spangler) McBride. Adam graduated from Cozad High School in 2008 and continued his education at the Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyo., where he graduated at the top of his class. In July of 2009, Adam moved to Lincoln where he was employed at Midwest Designs in steel fabrication.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cozad.
Adam had a special love for the outdoors. He enjoyed jumping and racing four-wheelers, as well as hunting. In his free time, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends, lifting weights, installing car stereos and tinted windows for friends and working on muscle cars. Adam loved his job and listening to music. He will be remembered for his smile, laughter and his ability to make others laugh.
He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Jennifer Marie McBride; and his great grandparents.
Adam is lovingly survived by his parents, Kurt (Luann) McBride and Barb (Bill) Kinnan, all of Cozad; brother, Brian McBride, of Syracuse, N.Y.; two step-brothers, Adam (Kacey) Pedersen, of Lincoln, Austin (Sarah) Pedersen, of Washington, D.C.; step-sister, Sarah Pedersen, of Lincoln; a nephew, Max Pedersen; paternal grandparents, Robert (Erma) McBride, of Kearney; maternal grandparents, Alan (Karen) Spangler, of Weeping Water; and a host of other relatives and good friends.
A memorial has been established. Condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 23, at the First United Methodist Church in Cozad with Pastor Doug Smith officiating. Burial with will be at the Fairview Cemetery south of Cozad.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad, which is in charge of arrangements.

We can only say we know far to well the pain you are feeling as we lost our son Cody a couple weeks ago here in North Platte. The hurt in your heart and the pain in your stomach does not go away. May your faith in God help you to get through this. All our love and prayers to you and your family.
