Daryel A. Penca, 65 of York, died on May 24, 2022, in York. He was born on Jan. 12, 1957, in California. On Dec. 9, 2014, he was united in marriage to Sherilynn Nelson in Bakersfield, California. Daryel was a member of the Two Rivers Church in North Platte and was a Free Mason in California. He was a truck driver by profession and enjoyed driving and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Sherilynn of York; his brother, Joe Penca of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his mother, Nancy Penca of Oklahoma. Memorials are suggested to the family. Online condolences may be shared at metzmorturary.com. A celebration of life will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Two Rivers Fellowship Church in North Platte. Cremation was chosen. There will be no viewing or visitation. Private family inurnment will take place. Metz Mortuary in York is in charge of arrangements.
