It is with a saddened heart that I forward my condolences to the Stewart family. Tho I only knew Jimmy for a few years, it sure seemed longer. I will always cherish his friendship, his high energy , true kindness and playing with him in the band and the couple times for church services. Jimmy will certainly be missed. Due to my emphyseyma, I regret I cannot attend the service.

I had the honor of knowing this amazing man through my son Nate Rivera. Jimmy employed my son and they spent many years together laying carpet and floors for the many families in North Platte. They were quite the team when working together. Jimmy was such a "big brother" to my son and watched over him and took him under his wing teaching him lifetime skills. I will be forever grateful that Jimmy did this for my son. Jimmy had a gift that made everyone he knew or got to know feel special and loved! Rest In Peace my friend

Never at a loss for words! That was Jimmy. What a great guy! Several years ago we hired him to lay some carpet. What should have been a morning job ended up all day. He talked all day about hunting and music. Even stopped to play guitar with Mike! He will be missed.

So blessed you crossed our path you lifted us and our daughter up when she was diagnosed with cancer.
