He worked for several years for the Union Pacific Railroad and then owned and operated J & J flooring company, specializing in carpet and flooring installation. Jimmy was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing bass guitar in several local bands including Innocent Mischief and the Latin Jam Band. He also played for the church. Jimmy never met a stranger and loved everyone he met. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Danny Stewart. Surviving are his special friend and companion, Deb Wurl and her children, Brock (Emily) Wurl, Jackie (Mike) Goede and Derek (Hannah) Wurl and grandchildren, Norah, Caleb, Natalie, Quinn, Eva, Baker, Barrett and Brynn; daughter, Brooke Stewart and grandchildren, Vivian and Valon; sister, Paula McDowell; several nieces and nephews; and special extended family and friends, Pat and Bunny Hinde. Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace Jimmy had many good times together growing up as well as putting carpet down at my house we were always bumping into each other RIP

Brooke i was so saddened to see the loss of your dad, he always had a smile on his face and was a good friend for many years, even though we lost touch for several years, whenever we would run into each other it was like we just talked yesterday. God bless you and your family. All our love Diana and Kira.

As Jr High and High school classmates, we’ll always remember Jimmy smiling and laughing. We’ll treasure our memories with him as a champion wrestling team mate for Mike and an awesome choir mate for me. We know he’s in a better place and continuing to make everyone smile.

I remember Jimmy as a quiet, humble boy who brought happiness with his smile. My husband remembers Jimmy as The hardest working wrestler who pushed each other to excellence on the mat

RIP good friend and give Hugs to Danny in heaven
