Margaret A. Arensdorf

Margaret A. Arensdorf, 83, of North Platte, passed away on Jan. 29, 2024, at Centennial Park. She was born on Jan. 11, 1941, to Thomas Patrick May and Harriet Agnus Wilson in North Platte. Margaret graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1959. She was united in marriage to Ralph W. Arensdorf on Feb. 14, 1960, at the Episcopal Church in North Platte. The couple lived on the Gale Morgan Ranch and went to Arch Leu Ranch in 1960. In May 1970, they went to work for Pawnee Springs Ranch, north of Sutherland. During their time living at the ranches, Margaret cooked and raised her family. In 1978, they moved to the Pioneer Ranch north of Tryon and in 1988 they moved to North Platte, purchased a house and Ralph worked for Henry Feedlots. In 2012, Margaret moved to Centennial Park. She will always be remembered as a very good cook. Margaret raised chickens for many years and loved her houseplants. Margaret loved her family and was always happy to see her great-great-granddaughter. She enjoyed coloring books, football, wrestling and Jeff Dunham. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sister, Avoline Sowards. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tom (Shelli) Arensdorf of Hershey, Kim (Roger) Trumbull of North Platte and Pat Arensdorf of North Platte; grandchildren, Ashley (Tylan) Gayman of Hershey, Tiana (Andre) Palser of Big Springs, Wendy (Rod Schall) Trumbull of Kearney, Tracy (Rocky) Wiezorek of North Platte and Holly Trumbull of Kearney; greatgrandchildren, Reagyn Beachner, Kayson Beachner, Emberley Gayman, Coy Gayman, Berklei Walker, Breelynn Litz, Jestena Wiezorek, Kaurlee Wiezorek, Lilye Wiezorek, Mystre Wiezorek, Novalia Wiezorek, Olyve Wiezorek and Cameron McClellen; great-great granddaughter, Paisley Richards-Wiezorek; and numerous other family members and friends. Memorial service is at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at the Episcopal Church in North Platte with the Rev. Steve Meising officiating. Burial follows at 2 p.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, near Maxwell. The service will be livestreamed at adamsswanson.com. There will be no visitation.
