Debra Jones Obituary

Debra S. Jones, 61, of Woodstock, VA, passed away on January 8, 2024. She was a caring and loving individual who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Debra is survived by her daughters, Shelby Scheffler and Nicole Jones; her grandson, Eli Scheffler; her mother, Carole Mitchem; and her sisters, Mandi Reynard, Margi Kerere, Teri McFarland, and Patti Mitchem. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Mitch Mitchem.

Debra's primary focus in life was her family, and she dedicated much of her time to nurturing and supporting them. She found joy and fulfillment in being a mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her loved ones above her own. She will be remembered for her selflessness, kindness, and unwavering love.

A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2024, at 1:00pm at the Conicville Fire Department 763 Conicville RD, Mount Jackson, VA 22842. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Debra's daughters to help cover unexpected costs.

We extend our deepest condolences to Debra's family and friends during this difficult time. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those who knew and loved her.
