Emily Ellen Roop, 36, of Moorefield, WV, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD
.
She was born on May 24, 1979 in Winchester VA.
Emily was a member of Happy Creek Methodist Church in Front Royal, VA and Harpers Chapel Church of the Brethren in Moorefield.
She was a graduate of Moorefield High School and a floral designer.
Emily was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Roop; and her grandparents, Boyd and Hazel Shoemaker.
She is survived by her parents, James Edward Roop and Minnie Kathryn Shoemaker Roop and her son, Weslee James Roop, all of Moorefield, WV.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with Pastor Johnnie Stump officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Weslee James Roop Memorial Fund, 1255 Lost River State Park Road, Moorefield, WV 26836
Arrangements are under the direction of Elmore Funeral Home.
