Gary Nickens Obituary
Gary K. Nickens, 61, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at home.
He was born October 3, 1956, son of Pearl W. and Frances W. Nickens.
He was a 1975 graduate of Warren County High School.
Gary was Director of Security at USGS and also worked in maintenance at Dulles International Airport.
He is survived by his sons, Nick and Kevin, both of Front Royal; two brothers, Pearl Jr of Front Royal and Rickey of Waldorf, MD; and a sister, Joan of Woodstock, VA.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and people will be contacted through social media.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up, titled, Happy Father's Day, Gary Nickens.

I'm going to miss you Dad. I will always remember you teaching me how to ride a bike for the first time, drive a car, change a tire, and above all else, how to laugh at the absurdities of life. I will ALWAYS remember how you would have me laughing in tears over some small detail that most people wouldn't notice. You were always there for me when I was at my lowest. YOU WERE MY BEST FRIEND. One day I'll see you again...Until then, I'll be thinking of you EVERYDAY and I hope you continue to look down on all of us and laugh !! I LOVE YOU DAD !!!

Rip dad I love you and miss you more than I have words to discribe. You showed me so much in life and gave me a world full of memories that most people can't say that had with a friend let alone with a dad. You were not just my dad, you were kind of everyone's dad.
