Gladys Funk Obituary
Gladys Marie Knight Funk, age 89, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in North Carolina.
A graveside service for Mrs. Funk will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Riverview Cemetery.
Gladys was born in Frederick County, VA on May 28, 1932, the daughter of the late Robert Knight and Evelyn Cameron Rush. She was preceded in death by husbands, Clifton J Perry and Branson Funk, and her sons, Cliff Perry and Vinson Funk.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Kurtz of Garner, NC; granddaughter, Tammy Stine (Randy) of Kearneysville, WV and Allison Helman (Robert) of Clayton, NC; and great-granddaughters, Brianna Helman and Abigail Helman.
A private graveside service will be held.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to MADD 5310 Markel Rd #101 Richmond, VA 23230 in memory of Vinson Funk. www.madd.com
