Isabelle B. Hickman
Isabelle Bailey Hickman, 88, of Winchester died Saturday at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Hebron Cemetery by the Rev. Jay Kelchner.
Mrs. Hickman was born July 18, 1919, in Winchester, daughter of Cecil H. and Bessie Johnston Bailey. She was a graduate of Handley High School. She worked at Bailey Brothers, Shenandoah Valley National Bank and Frederick County clerk's office. She was a member of Braddock Street United Methodist Church in Winchester, serving as a Sunday school teacher, played piano for the children's choir and was a member of the history committee. She was a member of Old Stone Church Memorial Association in Green Spring, serving as secretary, and Winchester-Frederick County Historical Society. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Hickman.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly H. Graham of Hagerstown, Md., and Beth H. Clarke of Winchester; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.

Mrs Hickman was a beautiful person inside and outside. Also she made the best biscuits and chipbeef gravy. Their will be no one else as outstanding as her. She will be missed,
