Dudur was a very special lady to her us all. I will forever remember her walking across Orkney Grade to visit our family at her brother's house - my grandad. She would get our progress reports, give us a little encouragement and walk back to her home across the street. I enjoyed visiting with her in her home, learning about her treasures she kept on display. She will be missed but she will also be celebrated for the full life she lived.

What a beautiful lady she was both inside and outside. I so remember the loving way she handled the books in her care and the way she could keep order in the library with just a look and gentle word. My condolences to her family and friends.

A great and dear lady who was loved by all of us who spent time in the library - we were so sorry she was not able to attend the recent Triplett reunion. Rest in peace.

My fifth grade teacher. A great lady

My deepest sympathy to all the Fansler family. Julia was quite a lady. I loved hearing her stories of all her travels and of her early days teaching in one room schools. Her legacy of a public library in Mount Jackson is an amazing one! She had quite a life and I am sure she left you with some wonderful memories.

I did not know Mrs. Fansler personally, but I felt I knew her from the stories Karen would tell about her in her classes at SJ. Ms. Fansler was indeed a community-minded person and she will be missed, I am sure.

Mike and I offer our deepest condolences and prayers to your family at this time. May God bless you and keep you in your time of need.

I have many fond memories of Miss Julia Fansler whom I saw at librarian's meetings during my first years of teaching when she was librarian at Stonewall Jackson High School and I was librarian at New Market Elementary School. She always called us by our last names only! She was helpful to those of us who were new in the profession and touched many lives throughout her career.

The bible states that there is no sadness in heaven. Jane and I want to say that few people have an impact on our lives. Julia was a great libarian and shushed at me several times for being too loud.
May God give the peace of heart at this time to all of us that loved her.
