Kelly Martin Obituary
Kelly Sue Martin, 56, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at her home.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Happy Anderson officiating. The family invites guests to visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens.
Kelly was born on September 25, 1967 in Front Royal to Bobby Tharpe and the late Carolyn Corbin Tharpe. She was a Real Estate Agent with the former Brown and Rutherford Realty and currently with NextHome Realty. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.
Surviving along with her father are her husband of 33 years, Wally Martin Jr.; daughter, Jobee Martin; son, Kolby Martin; brother, Jeff Tharpe (Kenny) and sister, Kim Tharpe all of Front Royal.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.

I knew Kelly since her freshman year in at Warren County High School. She was always kind, considerate and thoughtful of others, a quiet leader who led by example and encouragement. My heart felt condolences go out to her family and friends.

I go to church with Kelly and her husband and her two children probably for the last 7 years and I tell you man she's been a big inspiration on me for sure and man can she preach when she wants to she really could preach the word of God she was a great person and I'm surely going to miss her deeply in my heart and especially when I look over at church and I don't see her face I'm really going to be hurt I hope she's fine high with the angels in the sky because she was an angel that's for sure rest in peace

I knew Kelly from the two of us both working for Warren County Public Schools. Kelly was also my real estate agent on two properties and was always a delight. She was always positive as well as inquisitive. The one thing I remember most about Kelly, aside from her never-ending smile, was her contagious laugh. I know many people will miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I knew Kelly from our little league days, seems like yesterday. She was a larger than life figure and kicked all the boys butts. There was tremendous respect for her.
