Was friends with Larry and his family for a long time...recall years ago, attending dances with him and he was always ready to dance. Larry always had a smile on his face and always free with a hug. He basically "told it like it was". My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his Mom, Nathan and the rest of his family and friends. We will sure miss his laugh and smile.. RIP Larry

The Gochenour family is a integral part of the Shenandoah Valley. I knew a Gochenour young man back in the day. They all spoke highly of Larry. I know he in a better place; I just feel it.
Bless this family, Lord. I can vouch for the Gochenour, and Lord, bless Larry for eternity.Amen.

Every single call I made with my father as a little girl (and even into this past summer), Mr. Gochenhour would pick and tease on my brother, Stephen, and I, and always put a smile on our faces. And after every single call we made, my dad had to remind us after we got into the truck, not repeat those certain "farmer" words that Mr. Gochenour used all too regularly. I will always remember Mr. Gochenour as the man who taught me valuable life lessons in cuss words, and the man who always made me smile. Mr. Gochenour was a great man, and he will be missed by the Truban family.

May God comfort your family during this difficult time. I will miss Larry, his "small" talks over the phone, coming into the office and joking around and at the Moose having a good time. He was a one of a kind person. He will definitely be missed by me and others who knew him. God Bless You!

The hole Larry leaves is huge. He helped us so many times on the farm. He was always looking on the bright side and laughing. When it didn't work out for a calf to survive he would tell us to let it go, nothing can be done now, it's over. We hope all of you can find great peace at this very difficult time.
