Michael Eggleston Obituary


Michael Anthony Eggleston, 19, died Friday, October 31, 2008 as results from injuries in a car accident.

Born at home in Bealeton, Virginia on February 9, 1989, Michael was a student at Liberty High School and then when he and his mom moved to Broad Run, continued his high school career at Fauquier High School, where he finally decided that the GED program was best for him.

He has always worked since leaving school. His best friend, A.J. Wedge was able to assist him in obtaining his current employment as a laborer/glazier at Del-Ray Glass in Alexandria.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Lee Sisson Eggleston, of Broad Run, his half-sister, Lisa Marie Eggleston Mauck, currently living in Trinidad, his aunt, Patty Sisson Singleton, his cousin, Brandy Leigh Singleton, both of Kentucky, his soon to be family, Eddie L. Payne, Collin E. Shults and Kerlin R. Payne, all of Marshall, as well as MANY other family and friends that will miss him very much.

Preceding him in death was his grandparents, John M. Sisson and Irene J. Sisson, his uncles, Harold D. Sisson and H. David Singleton.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall, with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2008, with Pastor Butch Hammond officiating. Pallbearers will be Will Dodson, Joe DiLisi, Timothy McGahn, Josh Clatterbuck, Tony Lightfoot and Collin Shults. Internment will be in the Marshall Cemetery, with a gathering after at the Marshall Ruritan Club.

His family would like to thank everyone for all of their prayers and help throughout this difficult time.

It is not easy to lose a sibling especially a younger one who has there hole life ahead of them. My heart hurts for Brenda and family. No words can really help but I know he is in a good place and one day we will be reunited.
I will miss my brother and he will have so many people who miss him.

May god bless Brenda for raising such a good person.

I know there are no words that could begin to ease the heartache you are feeling right now.Just please know that my heart goes out to each of the family,especially his mom.I know how much she loved her son. Michael was an awesome young man,he and my grandson went to school together during elementary and middle school. May God wrap His arms around each of you and hold you close to Him.
