"My Boy" Johnathon Adam Matthew Miller, 38, of Mount Jackson, Virginia and formerly of Front Royal and Flint Hill, Virginia, gained access to the most majestic fishing holes in heaven on August 22, 2025. Johnathon, as he would say, was born the 25th of June 1987.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.
Johnathon was the kindest person you could ever know. He loved fishing and being outside. He fished almost every day of his life until November 3, 2024 when the love of his life and his pride and joy, his daughter, Willow Jane Miller was born. And when she was born, he was "All In" and was the "Best Daddy" you have ever seen. His arms were her favorite place to be.
Johnathon is the son of Alex and Vickie Miller. He has brought us more joy in 38 years than some people get in 90. We will make sure his memory will be cherished and never forgotten.
He is brother to Jeremy Miller (Michelle), Paige Miller, Ericka Miller-Banks (Glen) and Kristen Miller; nephew to Andy Miller; uncle to his niece and nephews, Taylor, Terrance, Mikey, Landon, Rylee and Sutton. As well as Willow's big sister, Paislee.
His bonus brothers are Corey Voorhies (Shannon), John Deal (Kylie), Kevin Stickle (Lilly); and he has a host of family and friends.
Many awaiting in heaven at the fishing hole for him including grandparents, John and Margaret Jenkins, and Clifford and Ann Miller; and his niece, Alyssa Ellen Miller.
Johnathon also enjoyed apples, eating and selling them for many years.
Anyone reading this already knows how wonderful "Our Boy" was, but his precious Willow will not.
So, here is my request, if you have a picture or favorite story about Johnathon, please write it down or print the picture, mail them to 326 Orchard Tree Drive, Front Royal, Virginia 22630, addressed to Willow Miller. We will take these and make her a memory book about her daddy, so she can get a glimpse of this wonderful man that left us way to soon.
We will love you forever John John. Leave a few fish for us to catch.
We would like to give a special thank you to the Rappahannock County Sheriff's Department for all of their love and concern.
