Nathan Benson Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nathan was born January 9, 1979 in Front Royal, son of Ronnie and Barbara Benson of Front Royal.
He was an electrician and was a former member of IBEW Local 26.
Surviving along with his parents are his children, Sadie Benson and Payton Benson; maternal grandfather, Hollis "Buck" Sealock; paternal grandmother, Nellie Benson; siblings, Brian Benson (Vicky), Aaron Benson (Laura), Amy Himes (Joe), Evan Benson and Sean Benson, all of Front Royal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benson Family, c/o Donna Berryman, PO Box 2105, Front Royal, VA 22630.

As I begin closing out your guest book I can't begin to tell you how many tears I have shed in the past year - my thoughts and memories of you are so very precious to me. It seems like only yesterday that you were a small child toddling around the house. I can still envision your beautiful smile and your blonde ringlets as you began exploring the world. You were always such a kind and gentle person - you never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings and you would give the shirt off your back even if you didn't have one to give. Thoughts of you run rampant in my mind on a daily basis. I wish I could relive December 2014 - I would do things so differently. I only hope that you know how much I love you and how much I miss having you in my life. Sadie and Payton are doing well and you would be so proud of them. I look at them and I see you!!. It was so hard having to say goodbye to you but I know that you are at peace now and in a much better place. My dear, sweet Nathan - you are my guardian angel and just know that Dad and I love you so very much and you are in our thoughts and prayers every minute of every day.

It is so hard to believe a year has past since Nathan left us. I keep remembering when he was a baby and what a beautiful and sweet baby he was. Scott and I miss and think of him and his family. We love you sweet boy.

Its hard to believe that your gone. I keep hoping one day you will talk through the door or call. It feels like your just out of town. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I am very blessed to have Sadie in my life. Every time I look at her, I see you. You would be proud of your children, as I am sure you know because you are watching over them. I miss and love you more than you will ever know. You are greatly missed by so many people. You touched so many lives. Please keep watching over our family and especially Mom. I'm really gunna miss Nathan coming over across the street to hangout with dad and work on the cars. he was so helpful and so sweet! and it's unbelievable how I talked to him before and then the next day hes in the hospital I didn't really know him but the fact that he's been over and that I've spoken to him before it's really upsetting. rest in peace...
