Reba Partlow Obituary


Reba E. Partlow, 68, of Browntown, died Wednesday, May 12, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 15, at 11:00 a. m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Dr. Michael Normoyle. Burial will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Partlow was born March 31, 1942, in Hagerstown, MD, daughter of the late Wilbur Lewis and Pearline Brunner Lewis. She was married to the late Lloyd Melvin Partlow. She was a member of Browntown Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters Deborah Denise Burke and her husband Patrick of Front Royal and Pamela Dawn Bailey and her husband Kirk of Linden; one brother George Samuel Field of Frederick, MD; three sisters Ruth Kaiss of Hagerstown, MD, Ruby Chaney of Clear Springs, MD, and Nora Copertino of Lansdale, PA; three grandchildren Patrick "Kevin" Burke, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Amanda Dawn Silvious, and Kenneth Lloyd Burke; and two great grand-children Sara Marie Silvious and Waylon Thomas Burke.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Tharpe, Roger Foster, Derek Fletcher , Mike Sabinto, Butch Taylor, and Scott Lurie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 14, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Browntown Baptist Church, 12 Browntown Road, Browntown VA, 22610.

Debbie & Pam, Our thoughts and prayers surround you during this difficult time. I will always remember your Mom as the funnest person to be around and so privileged to call her my "Aunt Reba". She taught me to play canasta and we would play for hours on end before you both were born and then while you were taking your naps! :-) I am so sorry I was not able to make it there for the funderal but my thoughts and prayers will be with you today and in the coming weeks.
