Rose Barb Obituary
Rose Lee Barb, 70, of Woodstock, passed away, Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 11:00 at Valley Funeral Service, in Edinburg. Pastor Larry Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in Columbia Furnace Cemetery in Edinburg.
Ms. Barb was born November 25, 1951, in Shenandoah County, Virginia, daughter of the late Marshall and Anna Bowers Barb.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her fiancé, Jimmy Kibler; sister, Ellen Barb; brother-in-law, Eugene Orndorff, and great-grandson, James Alan Rhodes.
Ms. Barb is survived by her son, Mike Barb of Woodstock; siblings, Larry Barb (Diane), Nancy Orndorff, Brock Barb (Marcie); grandchildren, Brittney Rhodes (Andrew), Michael D. Barb, Kymberly Barb; great-grandsons, Samuel Lee Rhodes and Joseph Alexander Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Fadley, Timmy Fadley, Jason Strosnider, Blake Strosnider, James Reedy, and Josh Reedy.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Barb Burial Fund, C/O Valley Funeral Service 14116 South Middle Rd. Edinburg, VA 22824.
