Thomas Monroe "Wompus Cat" Lloyd Jr., 82, of Quicksburg, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Lloyd was born January 12, 1939, in Mount Jackson, son of the late Thomas Monroe Lloyd Sr., and Marcella Othelia Funkhouser Lloyd. He worked for over 30 years for Hepler Paving and also worked on the family farm. He was one of the original members of the Mount Jackson Rescue Squad.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Bowers Lloyd.

He is survived by two daughters, Patsy Bowers and companion Linn Williams of Quicksburg and Dana Ann Lloyd Sager of Woodstock; son, Kevin Monroe Lloyd of Quicksburg; brother, Lonnie Luther Lloyd of Quicksburg; granddaughter, Mercedes Larue Martin; and step grandchildren, Maralee Kennelly, Vivian Kennelly, Cohen Kennelly and Dakota Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Michael Montgomery.
