Harry Fish Obituary

Harry Richard Fish, age 86, of Niceville, Fla., passed away Aug. 3, 2008.
Harry was born on July 12, 1922, in Union City, N.J., to the late Felix and Jane (Ikenhoffer) Fish. After high school, Harry served his country valiantly during World War II in the U.S. Navy. A dedicated employee, he retired from the New York Telephone Co. after 37 years. Harry was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed many sports and was a member of the Western Turnpike and the Pine Haven Golf Courses. He also was a member of the New York and Florida Umpire Associations for over 30 years. Harry's church memberships included St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Schenectady, N.Y., and St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Ocala, Fla.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille Grace Fish; and daughter, Myrna Godfrey. He is survived by his children, Jeff Fish of Grass Valley, Calif., Lucy Warner of Valparaiso, Fla., and Mike Fish of Ocala, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Grove Cemetery in Coeymans, N.Y., on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m.
