Mrs. Craig,
My deepest condolences for your loss. You do not know me, but I knew your husband for 20 years. I work in marketing at CHELCO and had the "opportunity" to disagree with Mr. Craig early in my career. From that disagreement grew a mutual respect and friendship. Jim ran in to my young daughter and I in Kelley's Grocery some time after our disagreement. He kidded her about drinking milk, which he found out she did not like. He told her to eat Oreo cookies and dunk them in the milk. When he left, he bought a 1 lb. pack of Oreo's and left them for her at the counter. From that time forward, he never failed to ask me if my family was still eating Oreo cookies. :) My daughter nor my son know Jim by name, but they both refer to him to this day affectionately as the "Oreo Cookie Man". He is missed.
All the best to you and your family.

Dear Hal & Family,
I would see Mr. Craig when he would come into the building Department to get a permit.
He would head to the candy jar and tell me which candy that i should keep for his next visit.
He had a wonderful since of humor.
I enjoyed watching him tease his Grandson, Hal Laird.
Much Love and Prayers.
