Loretta Pauline Curtis

1963 - 2014

Loretta Pauline Curtis, age 50, of Columbia, Mo., passed away on Feb. 11, 2014. She was born March 27, 1963, in Wichita, Kan. Lori was diagnosed in November of 2013 with stage four Pancreatic Cancer and received treatments at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Okla. Lori is preceded in death by her mother and father, Inez and Joseph Milewski. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, William Grant Curtis; daughter, Jennifer Malambri; stepson, William Curtis III; stepdaughter, Stephanie Berry and husband, Zack; grandson, Zayn Berry; brother, Mark Milewski and wife, Kim; brother, Stephen Milewski; nephew, Mark Paul Milewski and wife, Jennifer; and niece, Brionne Milewski.
Lori was a true Angel on earth and had been called home. She would go above and beyond for anybody, no matter the situation. She had a profound impact and touched many lives in more ways than she realized. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to Immanuel Anglican Church in Destin, Fla., in Lori's memory.
A celebration of life service will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Anglican Church, 250 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, Fla. Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery. There will be a gathering of family and friends in honor of Lori at The Crab Trap on Okaloosa Island at 5 p.m.
