Norbert Klenk Obituary
Fort Walton Beach - Norbert Thomas "Tom" Klenk, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on November 16, 2020, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Tom is survived by his children Lorie Moore (Ed), Lee Klenk (Cathy), Gail Broxson, and Michelle Jones (Angela); grandchildren Alison Klenk (Gabriel), Thomas Klenk (Jessica), Ethan Klenk (Kelli), Joanne Broxson (Chip); Joshua Broxson (Chelsea), Brittany Jones (Austin); Josh Jones (Khali) and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Lee Klenk, parents, Tom and Maryon Klenk, brothers, Robert Klenk and Dennis Klenk, and grandson, Jonathan Walker.
Tom was born on February 1, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Tom and Maryon Klenk. He married Billie in 1960, and they shared 38 years together. He is a veteran and he proudly served this country he loved--first in the US Navy and then in the US Air Force, retiring after 20 years in August, 1978.
Tom loved fishing and hunting, and he felt a special bond to bald eagles and wolves.
A graveside service is scheduled for December 21, 2020, at 1 p.m., at Beal Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Thomas Baez officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be given to Seacrest Wolf Preserve, 3449 Bonnett Road, Chipley, Florida, 32428, in memory of Norbert "Tom" Klenk. Emerald Coast Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Expressions of love and sympathy may be viewed or placed at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com.
