Brian Scott Stenmark, age 69, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Crystal Lake, IL.
Brian was born May 6, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois to Paul and Lorraine Stenmark and grew up on the northwest side of Chicago. During his teen years, Brian moved with his family to Palatine, IL where he graduated from Fremd High School in Palatine. He earned an Associate Degree from McHenry County College. Brian pursued his lifelong work at Motorola Services (Rolling Meadows, IL) and ultimately Consolidated High School District 155 (Crystal Lake, IL).
Brian is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Elizabeth (nee Shallow); his children, Kevin Michael (Alicia), Laura Christine, and Ryan Patrick; and by his extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Stenmark, Sr., and Lorraine (Kasprzak), sister Antonette Stenmark and brother, Paul Stenmark, Jr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 2pm until the time of service at 530pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. Burial will be held privately. For more information please visit www.davenportfamily.com.

I grew up in Roger´s Park, Chicago. Attended grade school at Bethesda Lutheran. A Paul Stenmark and his brother Brian also went to Bethesda.
I know what it´s like to lose a husband (mine passed away 1/28/24). My sympathy for your loss Karen and your family.
