David Harting, age 76, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton, WI. He was born on November 19, 1946, in Huntley, IL, the son of Ernest and Jeanette (Frost) Harting.
For 45 years, David made his living as an over the road truck driver, retiring in 2012. He had worked for the Stepping West Logistics Co. out of Elkhorn, WI, and L&K Trucking out of Plainfield, WI. He enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. with the love of his life, Kathy. The most important part of his life was Alcoholics Anonymous.
Those David leaves behind to cherish his memory include his significant other, Kathy Wetzel of Sun Prairie, WI; his 3 children, Matt (Jenn) Wines of Clovis, NM, Vicky Labadie of California, Sheryl (Steve) Duran of Oregon; 5 grandchildren, Kolten (fianceé, Cassie Crews) Wines, Brayden (Leah) Wines; Chris Ross; Jessica (Jimmy) Shultz, Madisyn Labadie; great grandchild, Rhett; 2 sisters, Kathleen (John) McCarthy, Pauline Winget; other relatives and so many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Jeanette Harting; 2 brothers, Michael and Dennis Harting.
