Donald F. Holden, age 80, of Genoa City, WI, passed away January 28, 2019. He was born in Pell Lake, WI on March 18, 1938.
The son of the late Thomas and Lura (Williams) Holden Sr. On May 11, 1963 in Greenwood, IL he was united in marriage to Marjorie Gail Miller. He served in the United States Navy.
During his life he was a past president of the Genasnoers Snowmobile Club of Genoa City, WI. He also was past secretary of the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and fixing tractors.
Donald is survived by his wife, Gail. Father, of Jeffrey (JoAnna) Holden of Bloomfield, WI. Stepfather to Kathy Bailey of McCullom Lake, IL. Grandfather of Milissa Bailey and Cory Holden.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mark; Brothers, Thomas (Lucille) Holden, Lennie (Minnie) Holden, Clark Holden, Nancy (Ray) Kelley and Shirley (Frank) Walls. Brother in law to Jan Holden.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 11:00 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ 624 Park St. Genoa City, WI. Visitation will be held on Friday February 1, 2019 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home 113 Freeman St. Genoa City, WI. The family will also greet visitors from 10:00AM until time of service at the church on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to Aurora at Home Hospice, 103 N Dodge St., Burlington, WI 53105.
