Frank M. Gurgone Frank M. Gurgone Jr., died at Journey Care Hospice in Woodstock, Illinois on December 8, 2013, at the age of 66. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frank M. and Mary (Leone) Gurgone on October 31, 1947. He met and courted Catherine Wolford, and on November 11, 1967, they were married at St. Matthias Church, in Chicago, Illinois. Frank was an Army veteran of Vietnam, serving as a medical tech, and later in civilian life was employed for 32 years as a warehouse supervisor for the Alstom Power Company. He enjoyed traveling, ocean cruises, fishing, the Chicago Bears, and golf, but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; a son, Frank (Corinne); three daughters, Cathy, Carin and Mary; his seven grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Nathan, Michael, Rosemary, Alyssa, and Caitlin; a brother, Jerry (Sandra) Gurgone; and a sister in law, Mary Beth Gurgone. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Mark. Visitation will be at the Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 W. Route 14, Crystal Lake, Illinois, on Sunday, December 15, 2013, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will Monday, 9:15 AM to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church for mass at 10:00 AM.
