Gordon Tibbitts Obituary
Gordon Tibbitts, 86, of Largo, FL and Hebron, IL died June 29, 2017 in the caring company of this son, Marc.
Gordy was a three sport athlete at Hebron High School and went on to play basketball on the House of David Barnstorming team. Gordy was a proud U.S. Navy veteran from 1951 - 1955 and was a member of the Army Navy Club in Largo. He had a long career as a chemist with Morton Salt and was awarded two patents for his innovative processing methods.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carol; father, William; and mother, Margret.
Gordy is survived by children, Marc (Sharon) and Carrie; grandchildren, Travis and Kelly; brother, Wally; and niece, Gayle (Jay) Schwarz.

Today is October 8, 2017. I have been in contact with Gordy from time to time and decided I would call him today, his birthday. While searching for his number, I only had his email address, I found his obit. Marc and/or Carrie if you read this please know that Gordy was a very special person to me. It always gave me comfort that I could contact him. I am sorry for your loss. We had a lot of fun. I miss him.
