Jeannie Wagner Obituary

Jeannie Marie Wagner

Born: Aug. 27, 1959

Died: Aug. 31, 2014

Jeannie Wagner of Crystal Lake, passed away on Sunday, August 31st after her three year fight with cancer.

Jeannie was an amazing woman who leaves behind her loving husband of 27 years, Dale Wagner; her son, Brad Wagner; her daughter, Samantha Wagner; her stepson, Allen Wagner; and her daughter in-law, Christina Wagner.

She worked in the printing and advertising world most of her adult life most recently as the owner of Minuteman Press in Crystal Lake. She cultivated an atmosphere of joy in the workplace. She prided herself on her ability to meet her client's needs in their professional and sometimes even personal lives. She always had a dazzling smile for everyone in the hopes it would brighten their day. She loved hearing music played at Ravinia, home-made pizza at home and quiet afternoons sitting on the screened in porch gazing over her magnificent garden. She loved flowers. She even did arrangements in her spare time for friends and family. She will be missed and surely, the world is a little bit darker without her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dole Mansion on Saturday, September 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Way too soon for her to leave this world. My condolences to all of you, Dale, Brad, Sam. I ran in to Jeannie at the Marianos in Lake Zurich we had lost touch since I had moved from McHenry. It was like we had seen each other just yesterday. May she rest in peace and act as guardian for all of you from here on out as the angel she is/was all along.

Jeannie was a lady of the highest order and a great business lady. I had been a customer of Jeannie's for several years and always looked forward to dropping in with an order, or to just say hello. My thoughts and prayers go to each member of the family. Jeannie left her mark on the world, and for it the world is a little better. You will be missed.

Jeannie spoke every word with a smile and her sincere interest in others made us feel so special every time we came to Minuteman. I can hear her voice right now: warm, consoling, interested, and kind; and that memory is followed by the joyful sound of her laugh that always made us feel welcomed and happy.

After our business was done at Minuteman we would talk about how much we liked Jeannie and how our day seemed a little brighter.

We will miss Jeannie dearly and are so sorry for Dale, Brad, Sam, and all of the other family. We hope the happy memories will help you to find solace during this very sad time.
