Jodi G. Roth, 58, of Harvard, died January 17 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Jodi was born Aug. 2, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was raised by her parents, Elmer and May (Brown) Frenk. On Oct. 4, 1997, she married Richard O. Roth in Cancun, Mexico. Jodi worked for the Alpha Net Foundation and previously as a nurse at Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock with the Alzheimer's patients. She loved riding her Harley and hot rod, hanging out with her grandson, having family time, and playing with her dogs.
Survivors include her husband, Richard O. Roth of Harvard; daughter, Cherie (Shalin) Patel (Henning) of Gilberts; son, Andrew (Ameythst) Roth of DR Congo; daughter, Amanda Roth of Los Angeles; grandson, Ryan Higgins of Gilberts; brother, Doug (Mari) Frenk of Harvard; and nephew, Maxx Frenk of Harvard.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a Memorial Service 11:00AM Saturday, Jan. 21 at Harvard Bible Church, 5817 Island Rd., Harvard, IL. The Rev. Darrell Bendorf will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Alpha-1 Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, FL 33134.

I am so sorry that I never got the chance to say good bye to someone so special. As she contacted me via facebook wondering if I could have an event at my house for her and at the time we were redoing the floors so I had to tell her in the future I could when we got done with those floors. She never replied and I never knew she was in the hospital.
It was always so good to talk to her cause she truly cared and took the time to listen and did not judge and gave her support. She will be truly missed and I am so sorry for your loss Doug, Mari, Max and Rick. I am so grateful she was a part of our lives.
