To Phyllis, Heather and all the families, we offer our sincerest and heartfelt condolences for the loss of John. Stunned, shocked and shaken by the news of John's passing does not adequately describe our feelings! John was a good friend of mine and I will dearly miss our periodic phone chats. I had just spoken with him reminiscing about our walks around Captain's Village with his dog, Annie, and my dog, Yankee. Sports, politics and finance were but a few of the topics of our conversations. Distance had no ffect on our friendship, as we would speak every so often about what was going on in our lives. I will dearly miss those conversations, I will dearly miss John!

Moe and John before the ballgame in FL

September 22, 2014

To Phyllis, Heather and all of your family members and loved ones:

Moe and I are unbelievably saddened by John's passing. Moe has spent the last 2 days reminiscing about his friendship with John, which goes back decades. John was a kind, caring, compassionate, and loyal husband, father, and friend. He adored Phyllis, revelled in Heather's success, and loved his MaryKate more than anything. The world is just a little dimmer without him in it. I know that the love he showered on you all will sustain you in this difficult time and beyond. We will miss him terribly.
All our love,
Harriet & Moe
